English Country Dance in Huntsville

The Huntsville English Country Dance is a recreational group that meets every Monday night.  (Some exceptions - email huntsvilleecdance@gmail.com or call Harriet Grable 256-539-5505 or 256-361-5041‬ for particulars.)  We invite you to join us, dancing traditional English Country dances dating from the mid-17th century through dances in the English Country tradition, being written currently.  Each dance has its own tune, and our dance enjoys live music played by The Fine Companions.

Our Monday night meeting time is 7:00 to 9:00, followed by snacks and hob-nobbing.  Our dancing space is a lovely room in the historic Cooper House located in Huntsville's Old Town area, at 405 Randolph Avenue, SE.

New folks are always welcome at our dance.  No prior experience is required and beginners are always encouraged.  Come with or without a partner; we all dance with each other and all the dances are taught.  We hope to see you soon.
